Becoming a British Citizen

Talk Visa Limited advisors are experienced in advising on applications for becoming a British Citizen. We are able to advise on all of the requirements to obtain British nationality for both adults (known as ‘Naturalisation') and for children, known as ‘Registration').

There is no right of appeal to the Immigration Appeal Tribunal if an application for British Citizenship is refused, so it is important that you ensure you understand and meet all of the requirements.

British Passports
British Citizenship can be withdrawn, (known as ‘deprivation' of citizenship) as a result of committing criminal offences after the acquisition of citizenship, or because of ‘deception' (i.e. making false statements or giving false information) in the application for Citizenship. We are also specialist in representing those whose applications have been refused, or have citizenship withdrawn, and have appeal rights to the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal and up to the High Court for reviews.

In addition to British Citizenship, there are other types of British Nationality. For example, British National Overseas, British Subject, British Protected Person, British Overseas Citizen.
